Our project has now moved into the critical validation process. We will be working with end users in our three participant countries – Spain, Romania and The Netherlands – to evaluate the impact of the MyMate technology and to generate recommendations for improvements and for commercialisation.
The first phase of this process will be to recruit Primary and Secondary End Users. Our Primary Users are typically elderly people living at home and at risk of isolation. Our Secondary Users tend to be retirees who are interested in volunteering within their communities. Recruitment and training is happening during February and March with the pilots launching towards the end of March. We will be working with 60 Primary and 60 Secondary Users across the three pilot sites. Check the MyMate website for updates on the pilots during April and May.
